Production Manager- *ENERGETIC LEADER NEEDED* Electronic Manufacturing $65k-$105k

** This position is for an electronics technician with LEADERSHIP SKILLS **

Supervise the activities of employees engaged in manufacturing activities to safely meet expectations for quality, delivery and labor cost. This will include but not be limited to: training, evaluating performance, maintaining a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with safety standards and established policies and procedures.

Ability to speak Vietnamese and English is a PLUS.

Job Duties:

  • Communicates job expectations policies and procedures.
  • Enforces policies and procedures in an equal and consistent manner.
  • Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, coaching and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities.
  • Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
  • Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and training personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Identifies & implements improvements to positively impact quality, delivery and productivity.
  • Coordinates personnel issues including but not limited to vacation approvals, time card approval, daily and weekly overtime, hiring, performance evaluation and training.
  • Resolves production related issues with representatives from other departments throughout the company.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Safety conscious
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team oriented, and ability to deal with a wide variety of personalities and communication styles.
  • Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of 5S, Lean, and ISO 9000
  • ERP Systems preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years related experience
  • Supervisory/lead experience preferred
  • Experience with electronics/audio
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions

Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred

Current Schedule: (may change due to work conditions)

Monday-Thursday: 7:30 am – 4pm

Friday: 6:30AM – 3 pm

Physical Demands

Requires prolonged periods or sitting, occasional standing, stooping, bending and reaching and repetitive hand movements. Must have the ability to routinely lift objects up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift objects above this weight with assistance.

Work Environment:

May be exposed to noise, epoxies/adhesives, fumes, and odors that may affect the eyes, ears, nose, throat and/or skin.
